Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actress comedian and singer. Her most recognizable part was that she appeared as a co-host of the NBC sketch-comedy series Saturday Night Live, from 1997 until 2002. In the years since, she's been featured in sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto and in the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer's career began in Northwestern University. She originally took a singing major but moved to theater when she became part of the comedy club. She has carried this spirit throughout her numerous supporting roles such as the extremely manageable Sheila Shay (agent), in Lady Dynamite, and the quirky Karen Grisham.
